Couch to 5k, A Challenge my Friends
I am starting the Couch to 5K challenge this Monday 7/27. This program is designed to get people that are not exercising regularly to running 5K in 9 weeks. I have downloaded Robert Ullrey’s C25K podcasts for my Ipod. This podcast cues you on your training on when to walk or jog, ect. I have started a Fitness Thead called Couch to 5K, if anyone is intrested in in this challenge I would love to have some buddies on this journey. I am excited and scared, but really I am ready to get fit. I want to challenge myself. I am super excited. It starts Monday, so check out the thread, if you think running would be for you. I am GONNA DO IT!!!!!! Much Love

I just started it this week!!! Really enjoying it so far.
Good for you! I am on week eight of the program. I love it! When I first started it was all I could do to make it through the 60 second interval. Now I am doing 28 minutes nonstop!! I never would have thought it possible! It is one of the most exhilerating things I’ve done and I feel so accomplished and proud of myself. I can’t wait to hear about your progress. You will love it!

that sounds great! I would love to do this with you… I actually enjoy jogging and to have a challege makes it better! Do I have to download what to do or are you going to put the running schedule on your fitness thread?
